Recipe For Today

Monkey Bread:

1 cup milk
1 package dry yeast
1 stick margarine
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons sugar
1 stick margarine, melted
1 teaspoon salt

Combine milk, 1 stick margarine,
salt and sugar in a saucepan. Heat
until margarine is melted. Cool
to approximately 105 to 115
degrees. Stir in yeast.

Place flour in large bowl, make
a well in flour and pour in liquid
mixture. Stir until blended,
cover and let rise until doubled
in bulk, about 1 1/2 hours. Turn
dough out on floured surface,
roll to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut
into 3 inch squares.

Dip each in the melted margarine.
Layer squares in 10" bundt pan.
Let rise until doubled in bulk.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 40
minutes.
