Recipe For Today

Extra Special Salad:

1 box lemon Jell-O
1 box lime Jell-O
1 can crushed pineapple
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 container Dream Whip
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
1 tablespoon lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoons flour

First Layer: Prepare Jell-O together
as usual. Mix together the drained
pineapple (reserve juice) with Jell-O
as it begins to set. Sprinkle with nuts.

Second Layer: Whip Dream Whip
(follow directions on package) until
stiff. Add softened cream cheese.
Spread mixture on congealed layer.

Third Layer: (Fix before second layer
and let cool to save time). Combine
pineapple juice, sugar, lemon juice
and beaten eggs. Cook until thick and
spread over second layer after cooling.
